What does Summer means to you both?
Lots of swimming together at the beach! He loves chasing us in the water, racing us to get his ball, and following us around when we swim.
And more fun times after work during the week when it is still light.
What are your favourite things to do with together?
Bush walks, swimming at the beach, watching him playing at the park with other dogs, cuddles on the couch, walking anywhere and getting stopped constantly by people asking to pat him.
How would you describe your relationship with your dog?
He is my fur-kid, a huge part of our lives. We do not have kids, and are not planning to as we get all the love we need from our Monty (and our other dog Jasper and two cats). We dedicate of lot of our time to our pets, and some people think we are nuts, but to us it is worth it.
What do you most love about Monty?
Like a true Great Dane, he is incredibly loving, more so than any other breed we have had. We are his world he shows it to us - true unconditional love. Also I love that he is so big, but such a big softy.
Thank you for being part of the 29 Dog Days of Summer Claire & Monty. I loved getting to know you and Monty, as well as Troy. Monty truly is a big, playful, softie and I so enjoyed playing tug of war and ball with him :)
